Education Team

Di Baker – Head of Education

Di has worked in education for over 30 years and has a wealth of knowledge and experience of sport and working with children. Di trained as a primary school teacher who specialised in PE and after teaching for 12 years moved to become a Partnership Development Manager in a School Sports Partnership. Di worked with over 60 primary, secondary and special schools to develop their PE and school sport provision which included events, competitions, sports leader training and support for teachers in their delivery of PE. Di is now a School Games Organiser and continues to do this role alongside her role within Speed Stacks UK, which she started in January 2017.

Di likes to keep fit and enjoys playing sport. Her passion is netball, which she has played since the age of 11 and represented Scotland at the U18 and U21 level. These days Di has stepped back from playing and now passes on her knowledge by coaching two local teams in Cambridgeshire.

Di will be the first port of call for all if you are interested in introducing sport stacking or looking to develop the sport further in your school.
